One of the clasps broke though so I'm wondering if I should invest in some bigger, sturdier lobster clasps/tiny carabiners?

The internet is FULL of spaces like this, where people think an open comment/reply box is a free pass to respond to people's hard work with negativity.

It's unpleasant and makes for a pretty depressing and discouraging environment; people say things that they would *never* say to someone's face, because the culture has been grown here. It stifles creativity and silences people.

I don't know enough about the roots of the internet to understand fully where it comes from, but I hope we can change that.

- "I believe constructive criticism should be welcomed."

- "Was there anything on the blog post to suggest that criticism was unwelcome? If not, how could they know that?"

- "If it's free to read online then the author should be prepared for criticism."

- "Sometimes [vague allusion to mental illness]."

A summary of the unsolicited criticism I received in response to this post.

Special mention:

- "Ugh, men!" (It was women, actually.)
