Black Panther is really cool... on several aspects... It has flaws but probably because they kept a bit too much of the comics...

Probably one of my favorite Marvel yet, if not my favorite.

@Ambraven it's flawed like any movie, esp superhero movie but I think it's easily one of the best ones to date.

@kellycrow

I don't think the flaws I saw are related to the fact it is a super-hero movie. And I really think they were avoidable. Like, the 5 tribes things is cool for a setting, no problem with it, but the fifth that rebels against Black Panter really feels like a plot device. ( And they all need development, but you can't ask too much of one movie... I'm not sure they will get more development in future films though... )

So there, some narrative stuffs that are less subtle than the principal plot, And some implications are are maybe a bit ... washed over, but overall a very good movie, a very good design and a very good story.

@Ambraven I more mean that because it's a superhero movie based on a comic they feel obligated to keep things in that might not work best for the film. or things that are contrived

@Ambraven
Yes, they kept a lot from the comics which is the right thing to do. Not only because it pleases the hardcore but because each time they did, it resulted in a great movie

@Fiuza1 Pleasing the hardcore fan is less important than making a good movie. If you aren't going to use stuff, let it in the background or just get rid of it, otherwise it just feels out of place.

In this case the opposing tribe is used as a plot device and little more. It feels like it's taking to much place in a story that does'nt really concerns them. It feels like there was a story worth telling but was rushed in favor of the main plot. I would prefer them not mentionned, or barelly, and have this story in another movie.
