When writing for publishers, I kinda have to assume they'll be more centrist than I am, even among furry.

So if I have any "eating the rich", I'll probably have to establish the rich as TOTALLY IRREDEEMABLY EVIL etc.

(I mean there's a wealth of examples of things real life rich people do that are so abhorrent that fictional rich people doing them are "irredeemable" -- the fictional moral event horizon is far smaller than the real life one -- in real life, rich people can do whatever they like without consequence, all the time)

I mean, there's a rich president who's very likely actually a multiple sexual assaulter and probably also a rapist

and he's not "really" rich, he's rich in the sense that he controls things, monetarily he's a shit businessman but (at least was) a world-class kingmaker and manipulator

if Sergey Brin announced he was going to murder people randomly starting tomorrow, nobody would actually do anything about it, they might just high-five him)
