"In the last few months, we’ve been testing the concept of limiting free copies on authors’ books with the goal of increasing urgency for readers to actually start reading. After a thorough evaluation of this feature’s success, we’ve come to the conclusion that it actually harms more than it helps because readers have not been able to access some stories when they had run out of copies. This, in turn, was a disadvantage to those authors because their stories couldn’t reach their true potential. We want readers to be able to fall in love with your stories at any time!

This is why, as of today, we are removing this feature."
