Hm...I used to roleplay Arpeggio, had a whole list of OCs and official characters, but it ended up falling apart. I wonder where I ought go if I wanted to start that up again..hrm. I don't think ARP communities exist anywhere anymore, though.

@grime_witch Well most discussions of that go out the window with magical material that can seamlessly reshape itself and also harden and shape itself to the point of surviving multiple regular torpedoes unscathed, and also, their klein field forms a barrier that seals out just about everything, I think I remember that being another excuse. Like: there are points the i-401 is damaged but Iona is directed to use her klein field to slow flooding.
@grime_witch I cannot speak personally on this, but my spacenerd friends cited it as evidence so it is what I was using as well. Besides, if we all decide to go synthetic depressurization wouldn't matter that much anyway, no? Only if we brought biologicals aboard, I'd think.
@grime_witch Mortal shells are tired and weak, vulnerable to disease, built around something not everyone wants to do, has to eat, drink, sleep..the list goes on! I'd rather have a strong, repairable synthetic form, especially if it was reshapable.
@aprrrl Witches.fleet would be amazing! Fleet of Fog vessels are extremely high tech boats, but there's been lots of discourse among what fanbase there is for the series, we've all but proven their vessels are very likely space-worthy. They maneuver via jet thrusters and every vessel is sealed tight enough to survive at the bottom of the ocean with no risk of leak. I'd love to be a mental model with a space-faring vessel!
Given a choice, I would upload my body into an ARP Union core and become a mental model, especially if the deal came with a free ARP vessel.

@Halberd Oh, no no, I meant an in-game event, like, a limited time offer to spend money in the game and get unique things, not a visit in person event. The event I'm talking about is both less expensive and less worthy of donations, haha.
@Halberd I mean, I have a paypal, yes. But should anyone really donate me money when I'm just whining over an event in a game? Probably not.
