Can Kemono Friends hear with their human ears? Or are they a decorative artefact of taking on a human morphology? Serval and others are seen to twitch their animal ears in various situations, does that suggest they are the primary audio apparatus?
If the human ears are functional, there must be some radical differences in their neural pathways from both animal and human forms to cope with double the auditory inputs. Do they all have highly developed directional hearing as a result?
