Journalist1: You say in your declaration that violence can never be a political instrument, which is a nice moral wish. I ask, the European Commission (EC) is condemning here or not, the tacticts and methods udes by the guardia civil* in Catalonia to stope the voting of the citizens? Is this what you mean with "violence can never be a political instrument"?

EC: I will read with interest your article to know how yourself interpret this.

Journalist2: Basically it's the same question as Journalist1, I'm sorry. It is not clear if you are condemning the violence or not from yesterday (1st October). And if your are not, how many injured do you need to condemn it?

EC: We made an declaration in English, and I belive everyone understund it. I will also read with interest your analysis.

(In my opinion the representative of the EC, Margaritis Schinas, what trying to answer to the journalists in a very polite way to go f*ck themselves)

Journalist 3: I ask, aren't we here a lot [of journalists] who are wrong when we write our articles? Because we write that a certain part of the catalan people wishes to leave Spain, but after this explanations maybe they will want to leave the EU too. I ask. Maybe there will be a vote to leave also the EU. Am I right or not?

EC: This I don't know, it is the readers who will get some conclusions. This is a subject we have treated enough. Do we have some other subject?

It is btw this attitude about not giving a sh*t about human rights that make me believe that leaving the EU is not such a bad idea. At the same time I'm still appalled that so much british people voted for leaving the EU... because it isn't conservative enough to them.
